Be conciously comfortable this winter wearing handmade originals from recycled woolen jerseys & found fabrics
Re-felt products are made from recycled woolen jerseys or found fabrics including off-cuts rescued from the bins at a weaving mill in New Zealand - NZ wool is used for making pendants, earrings and rings. Jerseys made from no less than 65% wool (but usually more) are selected from local thrift stores. They are laundered in hot soapy water and with the right amount of agitation, a felted finish results, making the fabric ideal for making Re-Felt products. A new identity is given to something that was loved and worn fondly in a previous lifetime and would otherwise likely be heading for landfill.
